- Girdwood Governance Association commissioned a report on the process of detachment and incorporating as our own city, this report is a summary of the larger report. Read the Summary here: Community Conversation Overview
- Girdwood Governance Association participated in a three party economic feasibility study for a potential Prince William Sound Borough. A presentation of the study was given by Information Insights, the economic firm who completed the report, on December 13th in Whittier. Details of the report were highlighted, as well as a demonstration of the revenue and cost calculator.It is important to note, that no formal action (petition, application) has been taken by Cordova, Whittier or Girdwood Governance Association in regards to a Prince William Sound Borough. Here is the economic feasibility study completed by a third party.
